There is a refractive shallowness in depth
in the form of disconnect between us.
Things are not same for the fish in the pond
and the hand that throws crumbs of bread.

Deep waters is an experience
but still it appears conquerable like infinity
symbolized in a sleeping eight, a missing link in
our experience with the whole.

Well, this was deep! In the sense, it required thinking- for the good though!

I am sure I have not understood "sleeping eight".. but one feels it, in the twin ripples on that still surface of depth. :)

The dichotomy between the one who receives and one who gives, to receive... does it not blur, very much like that refraction? Just a random thought!

Gave me the shivers, somehow, this poem. It touches, very deep!
